Tazra is a striking, large-format Beni M’Guild rug woven high in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains. This bold vintage piece is a visual symphony of protective Amazigh motifs, layered across a rich ochre field that recalls sunbaked hills and golden soil.

Diamond medallions anchor the design, each flanked by vibrant emerald crosses, blush arrows, and magenta-accented borders — symbols of direction, abundance, and grounding. Woven in the 1970s–1980s by Berber women for use in family homes, its palette and composition speak both to function and deep spiritual meaning.
